What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Possess either Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business
- Administrative or any related field(s).
- Minimum 2 years of working experience/ Fresh Graduate and Entry Level candidates encourage to apply.
- Working experience in insurance related fields would be added advantage.
- Able to communicate in English
- Good attitude and able to work as a team.
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
What you'll be doing on the job
Job Scope:
- Attend to systemic issues faced by business users
- Escalation to IT for investigation and resolution.
- Monitor and track the issues reported with updating the management report.
- Coordinate and work closely with SMEs, stakeholders to close the issue.
- Follow up and track the status and timeline for the system enhancement.
- Provide business requirements and system requirements for the new product.
- Planning for the activities and milestone of the enhancement and/or defects reported on the system.
- Perform UAT testing for system enhancement.
- Monitor and track testing progress and ensure defects and reported timely for fixes.
- Preparation of test plan, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Walkthrough the test plan, test cases, and test scenarios with process owners to ensure the current processes are captured for testing correctly.
- Preparation of relevant documentations for UAT sign-off.
- Arrangement for post-production deployment monitoring.
- Perform verification for CATS mock run and production run.
- Act as a key liaison person with IT, System Support team, project team, respective process owners, and other departments’ stakeholders.
- Able to provide guidance and coaching to junior staff
- To attend to the relevant meetings as and when required.
- Coordination with SMEs, key process owners for alignment of processes.
- Ensure documentation of the “To Be” processes are being updated in respective processes.
- To keep up to date on the legislative, regulatory and Code of Conduct requirements including (not limited to), Financial Services Act, Industry Codes of Practices, Complaint
- Handling and Dispute Resolutions.
- Ensure initiatives and/or projects scopes, and the business requirement are complying with company policies and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance to Regulatory guidelines for the any roll out of initiatives and/or projects.
- To plan for change management activities in rolling out of new changes.
- Participate in driving change management for new changes.
- Demonstrate a willingness and capacity to become better equipped to perform job responsibilities by transferring new knowledge and skills gained through training to the workplace.
- Ensure the successful completion of individual training and development activities to update knowledge and skills relating to legislative, policy, and system, procedure, product and service requirements inherent in current duties.
- Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
