What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Passionate for MOBA and esports industry; Ranked above Legend in MOBA; Have your own understanding of games and esports industry; Familiarity with MPL and MDL players or squads is preferred
- Good experience in the field of esports or games; Squad-related experience is preferred;
- Highly proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Strong communication and writing skills;
- Familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite; Google Suite experience is preferred; Capability to independently process information and requests in a teamwork environment;
- A detail-oriented self-starter with patience and strong sense of responsibility, project management experience is preferred
What you'll be doing on the job
- Planning and execution of the match day tournament flow and coordinate with all departments to ensure the smoothness of the event.
- Be responsible for the testing and management of the tournament device throughout the season to ensure the requirement of tournaments and sponsors for devices are well accommodated.
- Be responsible for the standard formulation and training of referees by coordinating with vendor.
- Be responsible for the formulation of the SOPs for on-ground operation for learning and improvement.
- Be responsible for the formulation, revision and enhancement of the tournament rulebook based on the requirement of the product, teams, players, and related stakeholders.
- Be responsible for the formulation of esports calendar and tournament match-ups and coordinate with stakeholders from both internal and external to deconflict.
- Be responsible for the formulation, revision and enhancement of the tournament format and bracket.
- Execution of the roster lock throughout the season, including submission collection, application review, and data collection. Ensure all registrations, transfers, changes of rosters follow the league's requirement.
- Execution of the prize pool setting, calculation and distribution for MPL MY and MAL MY.
- Be responsible for the planning and hosting of the manager meeting with MPL and MAL teams throughout the season.
- Be responsible for handling the request between teams and the league. Ensure the requests are precisely delivered and end results are well achieved from both ends.
- Be responsible for the planning and execution of the teams' hospitality throughout the season.
- Be responsible for the monitoring, collection and analysis of related news and information's about gaming and esports in the Malaysia market.
- Be responsible for the planning and execution for the teams' performance enhancement, including but not limited to data service, new players scouting, players training, and coach training, etc.
- Be responsible for the management of all female esports teams within the Malaysia market together with the official female esports partner.
- Be responsible for the oversight of player management, to plan and lead player management related matters including but not limited to players education and development.
- Participating in and supporting the league in preparation for Franchising.
