What requirements you'll need to be eligible
  • At least GCE A Level or diploma in any field
  • Preferred insurance certified papers such as BCP, PGI, HI or have telesales experience preferred, but not a pre-requisite.
  • At least some experience in call center, telemarketing, customer service or sales role
  • Demonstrate professional/technical knowledge of sales process and products.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Confident, positive and enthusiastic
  • Effective oral communication skills to clearly express ideas on the telephone. Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Employ consultative skills and techniques in objection handling; explore alternatives to reach outcomes that gain customer acceptance.
  • Ability to plan and organize effective presentation in a call, demonstrate effective listening skill, energy, good judgment and tolerance for stress as well as effective time management to manage own workload.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and accuracy in all communication and process and able to work independently
  • Ability to master new systems using different systems at the same time is strongly preferred
  • Set high goals and standards in performance; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed by others.
What you'll be doing on the job
  • Maintain good knowledge of products and services in order to understand customers’ needs
  • Respond to incoming requests for services, claims, new product enquiries and promotions
  • Prompt follow-up on scheduled outbound calls on missing information and bounced email
  • Identify opportunities to turn dissatisfied customers into happy customers
  • Identifying good practices that could be introduced or suggest modifications to existing practices to ease the way customer do business 
  • Demonstrate a driven and focused attitude with willingness to service customers
  • Aim for a first-call resolution to troubleshoot and resolve customers enquires
