What requirements you'll need to be eligible
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the luxury hospitality or food & beverage industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge wines, spirits, coffee/tea preparation, and simple cocktail mixing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • A passion for coffee, beverages, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to company dress code and grooming standards.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently, with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
What you'll be doing on the job
  • Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality beverages, including espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, tea, wine, spirits, and simple cocktails, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all beverages are crafted and presented to the highest standards.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of coffee, tea, wine, spirits, and simple cocktail offerings, and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Greet clients warmly, escort them to designated areas, and engage with them in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Take orders with attention to client preferences and ensure their satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for each client.
  • Work closely with the hospitality and retail teams to ensure the highest quality service.
  • Assist with events or such as boutique activations and client dinners.
  • Collaborate with the hospitality and retail teams to provide a cohesive client experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee station, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of coffee beans, brewing equipment, and other necessary supplies.
  • Follow established opening and closing procedures for the coffee station.
  • Adhere to all applicable health and safety guidelines, including company standards and sanitation regulations.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following proper hygiene practices and maintaining a tidy workspace.
  • Communicate client feedback to management and suggest improvements to enhance the client experience.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new baristas and coffee station staff as needed.
  • Continuously educate yourself on new products, brewing techniques, and industry trends to enhance your skills and service quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of beverage served, inventory, and provide regular reports to the Hospitality Manager.
  • Assist with ordering and receiving products and supplies.
  • Participate in regular meetings and training sessions as directed by management.
  • Provide support to other members of the House team as needed.
  • Continuously strive to exceed client expectations and contribute to a positive team environment.
