Who you'll be working for
An established Indonesian industrial solutions provider expanding into a new truck agency business with a China-based principal. In 2026, it will launch an independent China Trucks division, building national sales capabilities to drive early-stage growth and market expansion.
What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in China manufactured truck sales (on-road and/or off road/mining) as Manager/Senior Manager.
- Proven experience as Division Head (preferred) or Senior Manager level in China truck sales.
- Strong and established relationships with fleet, project, and mining customers.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience selling China truck brands such as FAW, FOTON, DONGFENG, or SHACMAN.
- Experience limited to non-China brands (e.g., HINO, MERCEDES-BENZ, VOLVO) is not recommended.
- Age will be considered based on experience. Candidates in their early 30s and above are acceptable, as long as they are still in productive working age.
What you'll be doing on the job
- Develop and manage national sales strategies to achieve China Trucks sales targets in line with corporate objectives.
- Define and control truck pricing structures to ensure profitability while complying with company policies.
- Oversee market research activities, customer segmentation analysis (fleet, project, mining, logistics), and competitor mapping to optimize market penetration.
- Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with fleet and retail customers to drive sustainable sales growth.
- Review sales performance reports and control cash-in flow, including AR collection, to ensure timely customer payments.
- Integrate and align all subordinate functions to ensure effective execution of the national China Trucks sales strategy.
- Evaluate and monitor national sales team performance to ensure individual and area targets are consistently achieved.
- Lead and develop sales team competencies in line with China Trucks market demands and increasing annual targets.
- Prepare, manage, and optimally implement sales and operational budgets for the China Trucks Division.
- Perform other duties assigned by superiors that are relevant to the sales function of China manufactured trucks.
