Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in trade operations.
In-depth understanding of trade finance products and instruments, global trade regulations, and banking best practices, including ICC rules (UCP, URC, ISBP, ISP, URDG).
Prior experience with complex or structured trade transactions is highly desirable.
CDCS qualification would be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of AML/sanctions and experience in preliminary transaction screening is preferred.
Detail-oriented and well-organized; able to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively under pressure.
Team player with strong customer service mindset and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Familiarity with operational risk management and ability to detect potential red flags or anomalies.
Proficient in trade finance systems and experienced in project improvement initiatives.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Support the Team Lead in overseeing daily operations, including the verification of various import and export trade and fund-instrument transactions such as accounts receivable financing, factoring, and processing of non-trade instruments (e.g., Bonds, Guarantees, Standby L/Cs).
Handle customer inquiries related to trade finance and documentary transactions.
Provide operational support to Relationship Managers.
Deliver efficient customer service to meet the daily needs of corporate and institutional clients.
Review and verify trade documents presented under Letters of Credit (LC) in accordance with UCP and other international trade standards.
Ensure all transactions adhere to internal and external policies, regulatory requirements, and service level standards.
Participate in reviewing internal policies/guidelines and support ad hoc tasks, projects, and cross-team collaboration as assigned by management.
