What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2 years experience in insurance industry and in IFRS 17 will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
What you'll be doing on the job
- Assist in month-end closing activities for general ledger closing and ensuring timely completion for regulatory and regional submission
- Perform month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries, maintaining appropriate supporting documentations and ensure all accounting entries
- To work with the finance team to ensure balance sheet reconciliation
- Assist manager in performing monthly reconciliations on the output generated from MFRS 17 system.
- Assist in other ad-hoc assignments
