What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- Related industry experience is strongly preferred
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including:
- Strong exposure to employee engagement programs across APAC
- Hands-on operational HR experience in China
- Proven ability to work in a matrix, fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Change leadership and business transformation experience.
- Strong knowledge of regional labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred due to China responsibilities.
- Singaporeans only.
What you'll be doing on the job
Summary
We are seeking a seasoned HR Director to lead strategic HR initiatives across the APAC region, with a strong emphasis on employee engagement and deep operational experience in China HR practices. This role will partner closely with business leaders to foster a high-performance culture, drive cross-border HR strategies, and ensure compliance with local labor regulations.
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement regional HR strategies aligned with APAC HR and business objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to regional leadership on people-related matters.
Employee Engagement
- Design, lead, and scale employee engagement frameworks across diverse APAC markets.
- Analyze engagement data and translate insights into action plans.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
China HR Operations
- Oversee HR operations in China, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, social insurance, and taxation policies. Act as a key liaison with legal and external regulatory bodies in China.
- Coach and support local team on matters relating to talent acquisition, workforce planning, and performance management tailored to the China market.
Regional Talent & Culture Development
- Lead initiatives on leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential employee programs.
- Promote a unified company culture while respecting local nuances across countries.
Policy & Compliance
- Standardize HR policies across the region while accommodating local regulatory differences.
- Lead audits, risk assessments, and employee relations matters in collaboration with country HR teams.
