What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Diploma and Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related fields.
- Over 5 years of experience in foreign-invested enterprises, including at least 3 years in production management.
- Familiarity with modern production management theories, tools, and methods (e.g., ISO9000 standards).
- Knowledge of product and production process flows.
What you'll be doing on the job
1. Production Planning, Control & Process Optimisation
- Develop and implement production plans and performance targets to support efficient manufacturing operations.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely fulfilment of manufacturing orders.
- Monitor and control production execution to maintain smooth workflow and optimal resource utilisation.
- Analyse production efficiency, material usage, and resource consumption to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and productivity improvement plans to enhance overall manufacturing performance.
- Optimise production processes and systems to strengthen operational control, process stability, and efficiency.
2. Quality, Compliance & System Management
- Ensure production output, yield, product quality, cycle time, cost control, and environmental compliance meet defined standards.
- Implement and maintain internal quality management system requirements.
- Develop, revise, and manage procedure documentation, work instructions, and operational reporting forms.
3. Team Leadership & Operational Excellence (Operation Manager only)
- Lead and manage production, planning, and logistics teams to drive operational efficiency and consistent performance.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across all operational functions.
- Drive productivity enhancement initiatives and performance improvement programmes to optimise overall operations.
- Ensure team capability through structured operational, safety, and compliance training (e.g. 5S, EHS, RoHS).
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and process discipline to support sustainable operational performance.
