Who you'll be working for

What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- 3–5 years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration (RHEL preferred).
- Hands-on experience with middleware: JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and/or Kafka.
- Working knowledge of Oracle and MySQL databases.
- Strong Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting fundamentals.
- Basic SQL knowledge for validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in banking or regulated environments is an advantage.
- Familiar with ITIL processes, change management, and audit requirements.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.
What you'll be doing on the job
- Perform L2 Unix/Linux system build, configuration, and deployment activities.
- Support service build and environment setup across development, SIT, UAT, and production.
- Install, configure, and maintain middleware such as JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
- Work with database teams on Oracle and MySQL related setup and connectivity.
- Execute system hardening, patching, and compliance activities per bank standards.
- Support build automation, scripts, and basic SQL checks where required.
- Troubleshoot build and deployment issues, and provide root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with L3 teams, vendors, and application teams for build-related tasks.
- Maintain system documentation, build procedures, and configuration records.
- Ensure adherence to UOB security, audit, and change management processes.
