  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of HR generalist experience, preferably supporting multiple countries within Asia.
  • Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR operations.
  • Experience coordinating outsourced payroll vendors.
  • Familiarity with Singapore employment legislation; exposure to Indonesia and/or Hong Kong employment practices is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a lean and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Singaporeans only.
What you'll be doing on the job

We are seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities across Singapore, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. In this role, you will serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring smooth HR administration, compliance, employee support, and operational excellence. Payroll processing is outsourced to external vendors, with the HR Generalist responsible for payroll coordination and validation.

 

HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage daily HR operations and employee queries across multiple countries.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
  • Prepare HR-related documentation including employment contracts, confirmation letters, promotion letters, and other employee correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment regulations and company policies.

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities for employees across Singapore, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and induction programs.
  • Manage employee confirmation, transfers, promotions, contract renewals, and exits.
  • Conduct exit interviews and maintain offboarding documentation.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Liaise with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing.
  • Validate payroll inputs including new hires, resignations, leave records, allowances, and variable payments.
  • Support administration of employee benefits, insurance, and statutory submissions where applicable.
  • Assist employees with payroll and benefits-related enquiries.

Recruitment Support

  • Coordinate recruitment activities including interview scheduling, candidate communications, and offer administration.
  • Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage onboarding documentation for new hires.

Employee Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR enquiries.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Assist in handling employee feedback and workplace concerns professionally and confidentially.

Compliance & HR Projects

  • Monitor employment pass, visa, and work authorization requirements where applicable.
  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and company policies across all supported countries.
  • Support HR process improvements, policy reviews, and regional HR projects.
  • Prepare HR reports and employee data analysis as required.
