Who you'll be working for
A leading international professional services firm specialising in accounting, tax, payroll, corporate, and advisory solutions.
What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with a minimum of 4–5 years of full-set accounting experience.
- Hands-on, current experience with Xero and MYOB is essential. Exposure to additional accounting platforms such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo or SAP is strongly advantageous, as is the ability to pick up client-specific systems quickly.
- Sound knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, double-entry discipline and financial reporting standards.
- Fluent written and spoken English & Mandarin, sufficient to correspond directly with colleagues and clients in Singapore.
What you'll be doing on the job
- Prepare full sets of accounts for Singapore-incorporated clients, bookkeeping, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules, for review by the Singapore team.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and year-end financial reporting packs in accordance with Singapore FRS / SFRS(I).
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation and assist in responding to auditor queries under the direction of the Singapore team.
- Prepare draft Singapore corporate tax computations and GST returns under supervision. Full training will be provided; prior Singapore tax knowledge is not required at entry.
- Maintain client accounting records across multiple platforms and support client onboarding and data migration onto Xero.
- Support the Singapore team on ad-hoc client deliverables, reconciliations and reporting requests.
