Who you'll be working for

A renowned local hotel group is now looking for a chief engineer to oversee the engineering issues for the group's portfolio

What requirements you'll need to be eligible

• Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Building Services, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

• 10+ years’ experience with minimum 5 years highly involved in hotel

• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.

• Excellent planning and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.

• Proficient in both English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with PC applications, including MS Office and Chinese word processing.

What you'll be doing on the job

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies.

• Lead the maintenance team in daily tasks.

• Ensure the efficient operation of the facility's systems.

• Guarantee adherence to all engineering standards & requirements.

• Recommend acquisitions for new equipment, supplies, and furnishings.

• Review proposals from external vendors and supervise contractor work.

• Provide guidance and support to hotel management and group engineering on energy-saving initiatives and sustainability efforts.
