What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Possess a recognised Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in insurance industry and experience in IFRS 17 project an added advantage.
What you'll be doing on the job
- Responsible to assist in month end closing activities for general ledger closing and ensuring the timely completion and its accuracy of reports for regulatory and regional submission.
- Perform month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries, maintaining appropriate supporting documentation and ensure all accounting entries are properly recorded and reconciled time to time.
- To work with the finance team to ensure balance sheet reconciliation are accurately compiled, supported by documentation and any aged variances are proactively addressed.
