What requirements you'll need to be eligible

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in system development, with at least 2 years in project coordination.

• Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server and ASP.Net development (C# expertise is essential).

• Experience with SWIFT, Faster Payment System (FPS), or other payment/remittance systems is highly advantageous.

• Solid understanding of information security principles; prior experience in the banking or financial services sector is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese required; Mandarin is a plus).

What you'll be doing on the job

• System Development & Implementation

  • Collaborate with System Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Design, develop, and test application programs to ensure functionality and performance.

  • Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), conduct user training sessions, and produce comprehensive documentation and deliverables.

• Application Support & Maintenance

  • Provide ongoing support for business applications, including troubleshooting production issues and performing system maintenance.

  • Handle user inquiries, data retrieval/modification requests, and assess the impact of software/hardware updates.

• Vendor Management

  • Coordinate and oversee vendor activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality of services.

  • Ensure all vendor deliverables comply with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist the Team Head in managing vendor communications related to solution implementation, upgrades, and modifications.

• Stakeholder Communication

  • Liaise with Head Office counterparts to clarify system interface requirements and coordinate event arrangements.

• Technical Research & Event Support

  • Conduct technical studies and assessments as assigned by the Team Lead.

  • Provide support for annual system events and other ad-hoc initiatives.
