Who you'll be working for

What requirements you'll need to be eligible

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Polymer / Manufacturing) or related field. 
• 5 to 8 years of experience in plastics manufacturing, with at least 3 years in managerial capacity. 

What you'll be doing on the job

• Oversee daily production activities.
• Ensure production output meets planned targets (OEE, yield, downtime control). 
• Monitor machine utilization, cycle time, scrap rate, and process efficiency. 
• Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. 
• Lead and manage production supervisors, engineers, and operators. 
• Plan manpower allocation to ensure optimal shift coverage. 
• Conduct performance evaluation and develop team competency. 
• Promote strong safety culture and discipline on the shop floor. 
• Ensure adherence to ISO, HACCP, GMP, and food-grade packaging standards (if applicable). 
• Work closely with QA/QC to reduce defects and customer complaints. 
• Ensure proper documentation and SOP compliance. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen). 
• Optimize raw material usage and reduce wastage. 
• Identify opportunities for productivity enhancement and cost reduction. 
• Support new product trials and production ramp-up. 
• Work closely with R&D, QA, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain. 
• Support new product development and scale-up. 
• Provide technical input on machinery, tooling, and process upgrades.
