What requirements you'll need to be eligible

1. Strategic Business Partnership (The "BA" Function)
- Engage with senior business stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR) to understand strategic goals and translate them into detailed functional and technical requirements.
- Conduct current state assessments, gap analyses, and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for process improvement through technology.
- Act as the primary liaison between the business units in Malaysia and the regional/global IT teams, ensuring local needs are accurately represented and prioritized.
2. Project & Program Management (The "PM" Function)
- Lead end-to-end project management for local and regional IT initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Leverage your software delivery background to oversee the project lifecycle, from initiation to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Apply your infrastructure and cloud experience to assess project impacts on hosting strategies, network requirements, and operational readiness.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) with external consultants and solution providers.
- Drive Agile or Hybrid project methodologies to adapt to changing business needs while mitigating risks and managing dependencies.
3. Leadership & Governance
- Manage the local IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost optimization.
- Mentor and guide a small team of IT specialists or analysts (if applicable), fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Report project status, KPIs, and ROI to the senior leadership team on a regular basis.
- Ensure that all initiatives adhere to cybersecurity policies, data governance standards, and local regulatory requirements.
