Who you'll be working for

• A leading financial institution in Malaysia with strong regional presence and a well-established digital banking transformation roadmap. • The organisation is investing heavily in cloud platform engineering, automation and infrastructure standardisation to strengthen governance, scalability and resilience across its technology landscape.

What requirements you'll need to be eligible

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

· Have 6 - 9 years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and infrastructure automation.

· Strong expertise in Chef / Puppet with proven experience in designing and managing large-scale automation environments.

· Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps toolsets.

· Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Shell, Ruby, or PowerShell.

· Experience with service orchestration and API-based automation frameworks.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

What you'll be doing on the job

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.

• Develop reusable Terraform modules and enforce infrastructure standardisation across environments.

• Manage and optimise AWS and/or Azure cloud environments in line with enterprise architecture standards.

• Integrate IaC workflows into CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control systems.

• Ensure infrastructure deployments align with security, governance and regulatory requirements within a banking environment.

• Collaborate with platform, security and DevOps teams to improve automation, resilience and operational efficiency.

• Support high availability and disaster recovery implementations across cloud environments.
