● Experience: 3+ years in event planning or project management, with a mix of in-person and virtual events. B2B or tech/fintech experience is preferred.
● Logistics: Strong operational skills: scheduling, budgets, vendor management, risk mitigation, and on-the-day execution.
● Communication: Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work with senior stakeholders and external partners.
● Tools: Proficiency with event and registration tools (e.g. Eventbrite, Hopin, Zoom, etc.) and standard office/productivity software.
● Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work across time zones as needed for APAC and global events.
● End-to-End Events: Plan and run events from concept to wrap-up: venue/virtual platform selection, agenda, speakers, registration, catering, AV, branding, and post-event follow-up.
● Conferences & Roadshows: Manage client's presence at industry conferences (e.g. blockchain, fintech, trade finance); coordinate booths, speaking slots, side meetings, and materials.
● Own Events: Organise webinars, roundtables, partner summits, and community events; align format and content with BD and marketing objectives.
● Vendor & Budget: Source and manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and track budgets; ensure events are delivered on time and within scope.
● Stakeholder Coordination: Work with leadership, BD, marketing, and external partners on agendas, invitations, and follow-up actions.
● Metrics: Define and track event KPIs (attendance, pipeline, engagement); report and recommend improvements.
