Who you'll be working for
Responsible for preparing and analyzing financial results (including NBEV, Embedded Value, and profit arising), supporting business planning and KPI forecasting, and delivering timely insights to stakeholders. The role involves collaborating across departments such as Strategy, Actuarial, and Investment to optimize financial performance, performing user acceptance testing for Prophet modelling, and ensuring accurate reporting and analysis. It also includes supporting risk management and regulatory compliance by identifying potential issues, sharing best practices, and staying informed on industry trends to safeguard business outcomes.
What requirements you'll need to be eligible
  • Tertiary – Bachelor in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Actuarial Studies 
  • Passed some Preliminary actuarial exams in one of the actuarial associations recognized by BNM Degree in Finance or Accounting or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, ICAEW) or equivalent. 
  • Fresh graduate / <1 years of actuarial related experience.

What you'll be doing on the job
To prepare reporting and analysis on Financial results (e.g. NBEV/ EV/ profit arising); and work with relevant stakeholders on initiatives that can optimize the Financial results. 
 
Compute and analyze Embedded Value and New Business Embedded Value. 
 
Analyse profit arising and share the findings with key stakeholders. 
 
Perform business planning and forecast analysis of company’s KPIs and provide timely updates to key stakeholders on the outcome. 
 
Perform user acceptance test for Prophet modelling. 
 
Assist in liaising with stakeholders from various departments, e.g. Strategy, Actuarial, Investment and etc, in identifying and implementing strategies that optimize company’s KPIs. 
 
Assist Head of Department in any other assignments as and when required. 
 
Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks. 
 
Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies to understand the risk and better safeguard the company. 
 
Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
