What requirements you'll need to be eligible
Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 3-4 years of visual merchandising experience at an international company, preferably in the luxury sector.
- Ability to understand and interpret visual presentation direction and train others accordingly.
- Excellent visual and merchandising skills.
- Strong, responsible leader who acts with integrity and builds productive cross-functional relationships.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills across various settings: one-on-one, group, peer, and management levels.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team; pursues tasks with energy, drive, and perseverance.
- Fluent spoken and written English preferred.
- Ability to travel frequently and spontaneously to support business needs.
What you'll be doing on the job
Primary Purpose
To support the Senior Manager and local team in strategizing, executing, and delivering on department responsibilities, including growth initiatives, flagship/seasonal installations, in-season management/communications, and event installations.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Execution
- Partner with cross-functional business partners and the VM team to assist stores in planning, mapping, and merchandising monthly floor sets and store openings.
- Train and lead Store Management and In-Store VM Assistants on interpreting monthly guidelines and communicating consistent merchandising direction to brand standard.
- Follow up with Store Managers and In-Store VM teams to ensure all marketing and visual elements (brand creative assets, feature table signage, decorative elements) are placed appropriately on the sales floor; support marketing events at responsible stores.
- Communicate and align with retail decisions to facilitate changes based on sell-through or business needs.
- Understand each store's business conditions, including top-performing products, to make informed and educated merchandising decisions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously within short timelines.
Communication and Training
- Effectively manage a travel schedule with approximately 75% store visits to ensure execution at brand standard.
- Manage communication flow with VM team support between assigned stores through regular touch bases during store visits.
- Develop constructive and effective relationships with In-Store Visual teams, Store Managers, and Retail Management.
- Support and train stores on interpreting visual guidelines through photo review, floor plan mapping, and/or in-person visits.
- Provide feedback on product presentations, challenges, and business needs via VM audit; communicate findings to Store Managers, Corporate VM, and Retail Field Management.
- Conduct in-store training sessions and workshops with Store Managers and In-Store VM teams to ensure current merchandising direction is understood and sustained.
- Identify training needs across store ownership regions and collaborate with the VM team to develop training programs.
- Stay current on business trends and competitive landscape; share insights with Corporate VM.
