What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain or business
- Min 3 to 5 years in supply chain related role, preferablyin F&B industry.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Good written and verbal communication where good spoken and written English is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in supporting new set up of businesses and/or managing 3rd party logistics provider is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skill and able to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and result oriented approach to manage supply chain related challenges
- A team player
What you'll be doing on the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Coordinate inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance cost-effectiveness with meeting demands, minimizing storage cost and stockouts.
- Procurement and Vendor Management:
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability and performance in accordance to service agreement.
- Negotiate and uphold contracts terms & conditions in accordance to company’s policy.
- Conduct regular cost review and supplier performance review.
- Work cross functionally to coordinate food sampling and food tasting sessions
- Work cross functionally to ensure products sourced fulfil the company’s quality assurance requirement.
- Manage supplier’s onboarding.
- Manage PO issuance via ERP system according to company’s policy.
- Manage and maintain master data set up in the ERP system.
- Logistics and Distribution:
- Manage 3rd party logistics provider’s performance to ensure accurate and timely delivery of inventory to the stores.
- Work closely with 3rd party logistics provider to ensure incoming shipments are managed timely.
- Manage importation licences.
- Collaborate with 3rd party logistics provider to resolve challenges and improve service delivery performance.
- Collaborate with 3rd party logistics provider to conduct annual inventory count and uphold inventory accuracy.
- Create and generate inventory reports to support performance analysis.
- Demand and Supply Planning:
- Analyse statistical data and generating forecasting solutions based on historic data, market trends, and sales forecast obtained from cross functional stakeholders.
- Work cross functionally, i.e. Marketing and Operations, to determine demand and therefore manage the supply replenishment.
- Analyse demand and supply accuracy performance and thereby identify opportunity for improvement.
- Data Analysis, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
- Track & analyze key supply chain KPIs, including but not limited to inventory cover, fill rate, forecast accuracy, cost of goods sold
- Identifies and implements opportunities to improve efficiency, cost- effectiveness, and overall supply chain performance.
- Monitor and track improvements implemented to ascertain the sustainability of the improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement, inventory & logistics performance to management.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and trade laws, including the management of any regulatory paperwork.
- Maintain accurate records of import/export activities, shipping details and trade documentations to ensure full traceability and compliance.
