Who you'll be working for
A Taiwan-based manufacturer specializing in automated optical inspection (AOI), testing, and handling equipment for the semiconductor and electronics assembly industry.
What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Automation or related field
- Experience in machine vision / industrial automation / semiconductor or advanced packaging manufacturing
- Proficiency in C#
- Proficiency in vision libraries (e.g. MVTec HALCON, Matrox Imaging Library)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willing to travel for onsite support and system deployment
- Experience in cosmetic defect inspection
- Experience in high-precision 2D / 3D measurement
- Experience in vision alignment for pick-and-place systems
- Experience delivering end-to-end vision solutions
- Strong passion for technology exploration and practical system development
- Willing to travel for onsite support and system deployment
What you'll be doing on the job
- Develop and maintain software solutions (C#) for machine vision inspection systems
- Support onsite system development, setup, and commissioning
- Perform defect analysis and yield improvement to enhance manufacturing quality
- Optimize inspection processes to improve efficiency, throughput, and cost performance
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and production issues
- Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and system upgrades
- Participate in system integration and automation projects
