What requirements you'll need to be eligible
We are seeking candidates who:
- Have an interest in electronics, computers, and technology
- Possess good attention to detail and strong manual handling skills for electronic components
- Are willing to learn diagnostic, repair, and refurbishment processes
- Can follow documented procedures and work instructions accurately
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic
- Can work effectively in a team environment
- Previous experience in electronics repair, refurbishment, assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations would be advantageous but is not essential
What you'll be doing on the job
Key responsibilities include:
- Basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, and tablets
- Refurbishment of used and aged electronic devices to restore functionality and appearance
- Assembly and disassembly of electronic equipment
- Replacement of components and parts such as keyboards, screens, batteries, memory, storage drives, and other hardware components
- Functional testing, quality assurance, and final inspection of repaired devices
- Data capture and accurate recording of repair activities and test results
- Following standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines
- General production and warehouse support activities as required
