What requirements you'll need to be eligible

• Hands‑on experience in banking operations, ideally with exposure to SWIFT, RTGS, and payment screening.

• Matriculated with 3+ years of experience; degree holders with less experience will also be considered.

• Strong communication skills and good command of English.

What you'll be doing on the job

• Oversee daily activities for payment operations to ensure all tasks follow internal and regulatory standards.

• Process and release SWIFT payment instructions with accuracy and timeliness.

• Keep track of real‑time funding positions and related usage, ensuring all thresholds meet HKMA requirements.

• Review alerts from the sanctions screening system, clear false positives, and escalate any suspicious cases for further checks.

• Maintain up‑to‑date sanctions data and coordinate with Compliance and Head Office on list updates and regular effectiveness reviews.

• Prepare official documents such as audit confirmations and bank reference letters.

• Provide general operational support to the team whenever required.
