What you'll be doing on the job
Role Mission: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team. This role will serve as a strategic hiring partner to support our complex business unit, driving end-to-end recruitment outcomes while shaping hiring strategies that align with business priorities, culture, and long-term workforce needs.
The successful candidate will operate as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, delivering strong hiring outcomes through insight, influence, and execution while providing mentorship and capability support, contributing to overall team effectiveness
The role will also contribute to people operations effectiveness across the hire-to-onboard lifecycle, supporting sustainable workforce growth and compliance.
Accountabilities:
Recruitment Strategy
- Deliver timely, high-quality hiring outcomes aligned to agreed workforce plans, business priorities, and organisational standards.
Candidate Experience
- Deliver a seamless, respectful, and differentiated candidate experience across all touchpoints.
- Embed fair hiring principles throughout the hiring process (from sourcing, to assessment, to offer).
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Drive evidence-based hiring decisions and continuous improvement through effective use of recruitment data and market insights.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Establish credibility as a trusted Talent Acquisition partner, influencing stakeholders through sound judgement, insight, and constructive challenge.
Governance & Employer Brand
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with labour laws and internal policies while strengthening the employer brand in HubConnect (Malaysia).
People Operations
- Partner with People Operations to ensure smooth hire-to-onboard transitions.
- Identify and resolve operational gaps that impact hiring efficiency, compliance, or candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver end-to-end recruitment for assigned portfolios, from intake through offer acceptance.
- Partner with business leaders and HR to clarify role requirements, hiring priorities, and workforce plans.
- Execute targeted sourcing strategies including direct sourcing, referrals, networking, market mapping, and selective agency engagement.
- Apply structured, competency-based assessment approaches to evaluate candidate suitability and role fit.
- Manage candidate communication and engagement to ensure a consistent and positive experience throughout the hiring process.
- Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitor hiring practices.
- Track and analyse key recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-hire, quality of hire, candidate experience) and identify improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to Talent Acquisition initiatives, process improvements, and team capability-building efforts.
- Support People Operations to ensure seamless handover from offer acceptance to onboarding.

- Works closely with: Division Leaders & Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition team members, Rewards, External partners (e.g. search firms, vendors)
