Who you'll be working for
Our client is a rapidly growing brand concept company in Singapore and Malaysia, operating across beauty, F&B, art, retail, and photo studio industries with innovative and on-trend business concepts. The Management Trainee Program is designed for individuals who aspire to develop leadership and operational skills within a creative business environment. The trainee will gain hands-on exposure to studio operations, customer experience, event coordination, and business administration within a growing pottery and ceramics studio. This role provides structured training and mentorship to support professional development and prepare the trainee for future supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
What requirements you'll need to be eligible

● Bachelor’s Degree in Art/Design, Business, Management, or a related discipline.
● Candidates with limited work experience or recent graduates are welcome to apply.
● Interest in operations and willingness to learn in a creative studio environment.
● Effective verbal and written communication skills.
● Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
● Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and adapt in a dynamic environment.
● Experience: min. 1 year hands-on exposure to art/pottery studio operations

What you'll be doing on the job

● Support the daily operations of the pottery studio, including opening and closing procedures.
● Assist in preparing and coordinating pottery sessions such as wheel throwing, hand building, and pottery painting.
● Maintain studio cleanliness, safety standards, and proper handling of tools, materials, and equipment.
● Provide customer support by assisting visitors and participants with bookings, activities, and general enquiries.
● Assist in organising workshops, private events, and community engagement activities.
● Coordinate logistics for classes and studio events, including preparation of materials and participant arrangements.
● Support marketing initiatives such as social media content, promotions, and studio campaigns where required.
● Participate in structured training and contribute to projects that support studio operations and customer experience.
● Work closely with studio leaders to gain exposure to operational management and business
● Ensure smooth daily studio operations with consistent adherence to opening/closing
procedures and safety standards.
● Deliver a welcoming customer experience that encourages participant satisfaction and
repeat visits.
● Support the successful execution of classes, workshops, and events through proper
preparation of materials and equipment.
● Maintain proper monitoring of studio supplies, clay inventory, and kiln firing schedules.
