What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in construction project or building services or equivalent.
- 2 to 5 years of related experience.
- Candidate with positive attitude and always willing to learn.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work independently with minimum supervision.
What you'll be doing on the job
- To manage projects and to provide technical and management guidance to the assigned PM or engineers. Monitoring all projects closely to ensure he/she managed the project within the given time, cost and quality constraint stipulated in the contract.
- To adopt the Project Management Methodology for project implementation:
- The project scheduling, resource planning, and material logistics, overall management, coordination, supervision, quality control/assurance and budgetary control of projects implemented.
- To formulate the overall project plan, with consultation with management and other parties concerned.
- To ensure the project meets the quality standards expected by the customer, that is:
- To ensure minimal defects and re-work by ensuring quality requirements are met.
- To ensure subcontractors comply with the quality requirements.
- To train and maintain a team of competent and motivated project personnel, in order:
- To continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project team by continuously leading, guiding and motivating them through better teamwork and spirit.
- To liaise with government authorities and other regulatory bodies to ensure approval is obtained.
- To liaise and work closely with consultants and contractors.
- To maintain good relationships with key customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
- To ensure project documentation and correspondence are maintained properly.
- To coordinate with customers, suppliers and shipping forwarders to achieve delivery objectives.
- To check the delivered equipment, materials against contract specification and requirements.
