Who you'll be working for
One of Indonesia’s largest pharmaceutical distributors with 5,000–10,000 employees and 48 branches nationwide, managing pharmaceutical, consumer health, and medical device products from both internal and external principals.
What requirements you'll need to be eligible
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical distribution, FMCG, or healthcare industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in handling principal account management and operational sales leadership.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen with ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams. 
What you'll be doing on the job
  • Act as the primary liaison with pharmaceutical principals, managing business relationships, commercial agreements, pricing strategies, and joint business plans to maximize mutual growth.
  • Lead and supervise the sales team in achieving revenue, distribution, and market share targets across pharmacy channels, while ensuring efficient sales operations and smooth coordination with supply chain, marketing, and finance.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, demand planning, and stock allocation in collaboration with principals to maintain optimal product availability and distribution efficiency.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and product launches that align with principal objectives and strengthen the company’s presence in the market.
  • Monitor sales performance through reporting tools and dashboards, analyze market trends, and provide business insights and competitive intelligence to both principals and internal management.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the pharmacy distribution market to expand coverage and strengthen the company’s growth trajectory.
  • Recruit, train, and coach the sales team, fostering a performance-driven culture and ensuring continuous professional development to build strong leadership capability within the sales function.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure effective execution of trade activities, marketing programs, and principal initiatives at the point of sale.
