Who you'll be working for
A leading integrated mining company focused on sustainable resource development and efficient mining operations, serving domestic and international markets.
What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Bachelor's degree in Law; a Master's degree in Law is preferred.
- Maximum 50 years old.
- Licensed Advocate (PERADI or equivalent) with an active practicing license is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of legal experience, including significant leadership experience in a corporate legal function.
- Previous experience in the mining industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate, mining, environmental, and regulatory laws.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and risk management capabilities.
What you'll be doing on the job
- Lead the legal function and provide strategic legal support across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, particularly those related to mining, environmental, forestry, and corporate governance.
- Oversee legal matters relating to permits, licensing, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements and strategic business contracts.
- Develop legal strategies to mitigate corporate risks and support business objectives.
- Manage litigation, dispute resolution, arbitration, and other legal proceedings.
- Provide legal advice to the Board of Directors and senior management on strategic and operational matters.
- Coordinate with government authorities, regulators, and external stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
- Oversee corporate governance, legal documentation, and company secretarial matters.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the legal team to ensure operational excellence.
